Dorthy Jean (Watson) Farnsworth

Dorthy Jean Farnsworth 89 of Bangs, Texas formerly of Cisco passed away January 21, 2018. Dorthy was born in Cisco, Texas on September 1, 1928 to parents Eugene and Thelma (Boatman) Watson. She was a graduate of Cisco High School. Dorthy married Major Powell Farnsworth Jr. October 19, 1948 at the First Baptist Church in Cisco, Texas.

Dorthy spent most of her life working in public education and retired as bookstore manager for Cisco Junior College. She was an avid golfer.

Survivors are her husband Major Farnsworth, Son Bill Farnsworth and wife Cindy of Bangs, Texas. Daughter in law; Karen Farnsworth of Canyon Lake, Texas. Sister; Charlene Campbell of Fairfield, Texas. Grandsons; Christopher Farnsworth and Michael Farnsworth of Bryan, Texas. Jesse Farnsworth of Canyon Lake, Texas

And fiancé’ Amanda Rodriguez of New Braunfels, Texas. One great grandson Ethan Parks of Bryan, Texas. She was preceded by her parents Eugene and Thelma, and two sons Michael and Larry.
