Vernon Lee Willis

Vernon Lee Willis Sr. 39 of Cisco passed away May 6, 2017 in Cisco. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Don Rogers. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends was held Wednesday evening 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Vernon was born July 20, 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas to Vernon and Charlotte Gail (Holloway)Willis. He attended school and graduated from Cisco High School and also attended Cisco Junior College. He was a self-employed electrician. Vernon was a very loving father, brother and friend. He was willing to do anything for anyone and had a good heart. He was loved by all his friends and family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors are his sisters: Joshyon Teal of Cisco, TX. and Felicia Willis of Fort Worth, TX.

Brothers: Onis Willis of Abilene, TX. Maurice Willis and Kevin Willis of Abilene, TX.

Step-father: Robert Chriseman of Cisco, TX. Children: Christian Willis and Vernon Lee Willis Jr. of Cisco, TX., Trey Willis and Elijah Willis of Weatherford, TX., Addison Gordon and Braylen Gordon of Abilene, TX. Veronica Willis of Eastland, TX. and Velicia Willis of Abilene, TX. One grandchild: Isiah Willis of Cisco, TX. and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Charlotte Willis.
