Gavyn William-Scott Lee

Gavyn William-Scott Lee, 15 years old, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Gavyn was born on October 2, 2003 in Abilene, Texas and raised in Cisco, Texas. He was a loving son to JJ and Mandi Lee and big brother to Pyper Lee and Trypp Lee.

Gavyn was a freshman at Cisco High School. He enjoyed participating in sports with his favorite sport being basketball. Gavyn has always excelled academically. He had a beautiful smile that would light up a room and he never met a stranger. Gavyn was very outgoing and loved making people laugh and being silly. Gavyn was baptized at 8 y/o at The First Baptist Church of Cisco and currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cisco.

Gavyn loved big. He had a way of making people feel special. Gavyn always had a large cheering section of family at every event he participated in and afterwards he made time to hug and thank each person for being there. Gavyn was a wonderful friend and made an impact on anyone that met him. He was the first grandchild and nephew on his mother and father’s side of the family. Gavyn was a wonderful big brother and the best big cousin. He will be deeply missed by so many especially by his mom.

Gavyn is survived by his mother and father, Mandi and JJ lee; 2 siblings, Pyper Lee and Trypp Lee; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Sharon Lee; maternal grandmother, Dana Zellman; maternal aunts Audrey Martin (fiancé Roy Little) and Shay Eison (husband Jbart Eison); paternal aunt Jenna Wood (husband Lee Wood); paternal great grandmother Jeanne Lee; special friend Cassye Roark; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gavyn is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Rodney Martin; maternal step-grandfather William Scott Zellman; maternal great grandparents Melva Pippen and Benny Pippen; maternal great grandparents Daniel and Doris Martin; paternal great grandfather Jimmie Lee; paternal great grandparents Jake and Sammie McCreary; maternal great great grandmother Maudie Bailey.
