James David (Sug) Weathers

James David (Sug) Weathers 63 of Cisco went to his heavenly home April 2, 2019. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday April 5, 2019 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Howard Stovall. Private burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco. Visitation will be come and go at Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Sug was born July 10, 1955 in Charleston South Carolina to Clyde Vandell and Hattie Marie (Whitehead) Weathers. He attended school in Cisco and was a graduate of Cisco High School.

He worked for Haliburton for many years then in the maintenance department at Cisco College until his retirement. Sug was a former member of the Cisco Volunteer Fire Department and Cisco Country Club. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing golf.

Sug is survived by his mother Hattie Arnold of Cisco, daughter Kallye McFarland and husband Jordan of Eastland, son Kody Weathers of Cisco. Sisters: Pattie Moore and husband JoBob of Cisco, Julie Ishmael and husband Jackie of Mineral Wells and a brother Jerry Weathers of Kyle, Texas.

Two grandchildren Wade McFarland and Stormi McFarland of Eastland, Texas.

Several nieces and nephews.

Sug was preceded in death by his father Vandell Weathers.
