My sincere condolences to the Longoria family. The death of someone we dearly love is something we never seem to get use to, in fact, the Bible refers to death as an enemy because it hurts all of us deeply. (1 Corinthians 15:26) God wants us to be able to see and enjoy the company of our loved ones. He promises that we will again see them in a healthy condition (Isaiah 33:28) and for countless generations of time. He guarantees a time in the near future where no family will ever have to mourn the death of a loved ever again at Revelation 21:3,4. This is why we are promised a similar resurrection like Lazarus had by Jesus at John 11:14, 38-39, 43-44. May the memories of Jordan bring you comfort, joy, and sense of peace as you begin to heal; and, may God’s promise of a resurrection bring you hope that you will soon see him again.
