I am keeping all of as a family in prayer. Bruce knew my dad when he was learning to drive trucks. Baptized my dad, mom, and older brothers. I will miss him, but will see him again.I'm sure he's getting the grand tour about now..He did what he did out of love..now he knows love beyond our understanding.

Kelly and Cindy, and family- I am so very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful man. Many memories of him when we were growing up.
Lean in to Jesus for comfort and peace. I lost Mom last Wednesday and God is all that is holding me up.
I am here if you need anything. I will be in town Saturday for Mom’s memorial.

Bruce was.....well, let's just say he helped make the world a better place. When I heard the news of his home-going, there was not a doubt in my mind that he went right straight up because he had a servant heart and really showed his love for the Lord. Only Bruce Stovall could turn your frown upside down by simply saying "Hello" and calling you by name, didn't matter where he saw you whether it be the grocery store, a game, or wherever, he always spoke. Bruce loved children and you could tell by the many mission trips he took to Mexico and the children's sermons he delivered at FBC Cisco even at times when he didn't feel good but he still did it. As I think of Bruce, I can just hear the song "I Can Only Imagine" because I can picture him looking our Lord straight in the face, talking to him, and walking right alongside him. I can see the scene now, the King of Kings seated on the throne and there's Bruce Stovall sitting right beside him. We'll sure miss this man, he was one of a kind.

So glad to hear Bro. Stovall had a life well-lived. He will always be "Daddy Bear" to me. I know many other "former teenagers" will remember him as the same. We loved him, he loved us. I will always remember him playing guitar and singing "Rolling on the River". Sympathies and prayers to the families.

How well I remember the first time I saw Bruce...he was on a backhoe doing work.....he was so tanned and muscle bound......Sherry and I were so excited to have such a handsome young man join the family,......that was many lifetimes ago.....he was an inspiration and I am so thankful I got to visit with him a couple of months ago.....he is in Heaven arguing with my mom now.....they were always picking on each other....love to you each and every one.....robin

Bruce was a brother in law, friend, and fellow believer in Christ. We will always remember him for his deep love for Jesus Christ, his wit, and sharp humor. He was so very much fun to visit with and be around. Heart felt condolences to all the family. Makes me look forward to that great time in the future when we will be reunited. Dody will also miss him greatly. He was her good friend in her time of need.
