Patsy Cox Hawkins passed away on Oct. 31, 2018, at the age of 72 years.
She was born on August 12, 1946, to Roy and Louise (White) Cox in O’Donnell, Texas.
Patsy graduated from Lamesa High School before settling in Scranton, Texas. She worked at Cisco College and the E.L. Graham Memorial Hospital before retiring. She played piano at First Baptist Church and Mitchell Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Garland Hawkins; her daughter and her husband Amy and Jack Evans of McKinney; grandsons Ethan and Trey Evans also of McKinney; brother Kenneth Cox and wife, Jane of Lamesa; stepdaughters Nancy Hawkins and Vickie Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Louise Cox.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Cisco, 202 W. 9th Street, Cisco, Texas 76437. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Kimbrough Funeral Home, 300 W 9th St, Cisco, TX 76437.
