Venita Smith Obituary

Venita Davis Smith, of Eastland, Texas, died June 1, 2018 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt Col Roy B. Smith (USAF retired), to whom she was married 48 years.

Venita was the eldest daughter of Samuel Andrew Davis and Ella Merhea Carlisle Davis; her sister, Yvonne Hollis, predeceased her in 1986. She is survived by her brothers, Gerald Davis and June Davis, her daughters Candace Bacon and Charissa Smith, her granddaughter Melody Kearse, grandson Bryan Kearse, and her great grand- children Charlie, Amelia, and Josephine Kearse.

The family will hold private services.
