Alice Edith (Patton) Woody

Alice Edith Woody 86 of Cisco entered into the waiting arms of Jesus on August 18, 2021. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. August 24, 2021 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Private interment will be at Cross Plains Cemetery. 

Alice was the tenth child of eleven children born to Walter and Ruby Edith (Chambers) Patton.
Alice was born in Chico, Texas. She was a homemaker and housewife for her family. Alice married Samuel Ray Woody February 28, 1972 in Altus, Oklahoma. Sam preceded her in death on May 17, 2021.

Survivors are her children: James Dayne Riggs and wife Joy of Fort Worth, Darrell Riggs and wife Dana of Trinity, Texas. Cindy Jo( Riggs) Meador of Abilene, Texas and Andrew Jay Hobbs of Cisco, Texas. Ten grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren along with several great- great grandchildren.  Alice was preceded by her parents, one infant daughter Nova Alice Riggs, one son Roland Homer Riggs, a daughter Sara Malinda Helmuth and husband Samuel Ray Woody.
She was also preceded by brothers and sisters; Wesley (Pat) Patton, Ernest (Curly) Patton, Zoda Strickland, Lois Strickland, Ollie Millsap, Mabel Woody, Elsie (May) Russell, Ira Patton, Joseph (Joe) Patton and Homer Patton.
