Barbara June (Anderson) Eakin

Barbara June Eakin 86 of New Braunfuls, Texas was called to her Eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior February 3, 2020. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. at Kimbrough Funeral Home

Barbara was born October 19, 1933 in Cisco to William Fred Anderson and Florene (Barnes) Anderson. She received a Master’s Degree in Education and was a clinical physiologist having worked for the State of Texas. Barbara married Jimmy Wayne Eakin February 14, 1971 in Abilene, Texas. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas.

Survivors are her husband Jimmy of New Braunfuls, Texas. Son Robert Don Ables and wife Gail of Odessa, Texas, Daughters Tamatha Humphrey of Venus, Texas and Felina Jackson of Falmouth Massachusetts.

Grandchildren: Tomi Jo Holliday and husband Ronald of San Antonio, Kota Ables of San Antonio, Phillip Humphrey of West Palm Beach, Florida, Brooks Humphrey and wife Delayna of Venus, Texas, Caleb Humphrey of San Antonio, Texas.

Great Granddaughter: Scarlet Humphrey of West Palm Beach, Florida

Great Grandson: Wayland Humphrey of Venus, Texas.

Brothers: Freddy Anderson and wife Vonda of Cisco and Jerry Anderson and wife Phyllis of Cisco.

Nephew: Scott Anderson and wife Ginger of May, Texas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents William Fred and Florene Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Kota Ables, Ronald Holliday, Robert Don Ables, Brooks Humphrey, Phillip Humphrey, Scott Anderson and Ryan Anderson.
