Barbara Dean Evans

 Barbara Dean Evans 83 of Cisco went to be with her Lord and Savior November 30, 2018.

Barbara was born November 29, 1935 in Cisco, Texas to parents L.B. and Nadine (Huntington) Carlile. She attended school in Cisco and married Robert Reo Evans on December 1, 1951 in Cisco. They made their home in Midland where she worked for several companies including: Woolworth, Sears, 1000 Auto Parts and Southwestern Bell in various jobs. She was an active member of her church and served as clerk and taught Sunday School.  After retirement she and her husband moved to Cisco, and were members of First Baptist Church Eastland, where she served as a Sunday School group leader. 

Survivors are Robert Michael Evans and wife Sue of Arlington, Texas and Gregory Alan Evans and wife Martha of Midland, Texas. Granddaughters: Jessica Evans and Amy Michelle Neal and husband Jeff.

Grandsons: Justin Evans and David Evans and wife Maureen. Great-grandchildren: Oakley, Ryder, Silver-Rae, Madison, Rylan and Eve. Brother Chester Hogan of Conroe.

Barbara was preceded by her father, L B Carlile  mother Nadine Hogan, step-father Chester Hogan, and husband Reo Evans.

Funeral Service will be at First Baptist Church in Eastland, Texas on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday at 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Kimbrough Funeral Home.
