Barbara (Risinger) Mowery

Barbara Mowery of Ranger passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the age of 68.

She was born September 23, 1957 in Brady to Robert Elbra and JoAnne Stockstill Risinger.

Barb graduated from Kilgore High School and married William Otto Mowery on May 4, 1978. They were married for 43 years before William passed away in 2021.

Barb liked to hang out with her friends and family by the fire, listening to music and taking road trips.

She was preceded in death by her husband William; daughter Vanessa Ivy Mowery; brother Hugh Bryan Risinger and her parents.

She is survived by daughter Deloise Ann McClanahan and husband William of Cisco; granddaughters Amy LeAnn McClanahan Weger and husband Josh of Cisco and Ashley Nicole McClanahan of Cisco; great-grand children Leia Sage Weger and Jettson Keith Weger; brother Robert Risinger Jr. and nieces and nephews from Henderson and surrounding areas.

No services are planned at this time. The family will have a gathering to honor Barb at a later date.
