Benjie Linn Thompson

Benjie Linn Thompson left this life Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 63.

He was born December 14, 1961 in Grapevine to Benjamin Lee and Marilyn Francis Long Thompson. After graduating high school, he worked in trades and on tank batteries. His favorite times were spent riding motorcycles and fishing. He was a generous man who loved his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. He loved spoiling his nieces and nephews with Dr. Pepper and popsicles, and aggravating them every chance he had.

Benjie was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Marilyn Thompson, and sister Terry Ballinger.

Survivors include sister Penny Burns and husband Doug (Jap) and brother Steve Thompson and wife Carolyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who he loved and cherished.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery.  A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
