Bettye Luella Maples went to be with Jesus on February 19th, 2022.
She was born on November 18th, 1938 in Model, Tennessee to Audra Smith. She was raised in Tennessee and Colorado. She moved back to Tennessee where her three children were born. She wed Cecil Maples on September 16th, 1990. They were married for 29 years until his passing in 2019. She was a hard worker and had several occupations over the years. She was a wonderful cook and made the best desserts. She attended church at Victory Assembly Church in Cisco, Texas.
Survivors include children Judith Page and William (Susan) Chadwick of Tennessee; Step-children Linda (Jackie) Witt, Charles (Sandy) Maples, Jay (Rebecca) Maples of Texas;
Grandchildren Jeanalea (Brandon) Moore, Larry Chadwick, Michelle (Walter) Wilson, Jason (Tara) Page, Casey (Sarah) Page, Lisa Kurtz, & Samuel Chadwick; Step-Grandchildren Rachel (Steve) Boyett, Jim Bob (Jane) Maples, Chris (Stephanie) Maples, Doug (Ginny) Witt, Dave (Michelle) Witt, Richard (Kristie) Harrison, Lacey Harrison, Cheryl Harrison, Mike (Jamie) Harrison, Melanie Kemp, Stefanie (Ryan) Monge, and Brady Maples; several great-grandchildren and a church family nation-wide.
Preceding her in death were her mother Audra Smith, brother Gerald Smith, husband Cecil Maples, step-son John Wayne Maples, son-in-law Daniel Page, son Dale Chadwick, grandson Joshua Chadwick, and step-daughter Brenda Harrison.
A memorial will be held at Victory Assembly Church in Cisco on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 at 4:00 in the afternoon.
