Brayden Cruz Obituary

Brayden “Bubba” Johnston-Cruz went to be with the lord at home peacefully on 16 April 2020 at the mighty age of 12.

He touched the lives of so many, our beloved, shining, happy boy.  He was the light of our lives and the star of our hearts that leaves us smiling through our tears.  He was joy and strength personified!

Please spread his message of love, all mighty strength, courage, and be good to one another each and every day.

Beloved son of Brit and Amber Johnston, along with Victor Cruz, and the best brother to Macy Cruz, Katelynn and Emma Johnston.  Sorrowfully missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his Great Grandparents Nanny (Betty Hanegan of Cisco, TX) and Granny (Ethel Kunkel of Priddy, TX), Grandparents Papa and Momo (Randy and Sam Honea of Cisco, TX) and Papa and GranGran (Ray and Linda Johnston of Priddy, TX).  Treasured nephew of Denise Huls, Stacy Hammer, Brandon Honea, Brody Honea, Brenna Sims and Trever Honea and cousin of Rhyland, Deidrich, Colton, Mackenzie, Maddie, Taylor, Kaelynn, Mallory, Saylor and Harper.

Bubba, we love you sweet boy!  We are so proud of what you have been able to accomplish and overcome in your short time on this earth.  You were born with some type of power that had people continuously gravitate towards you.  You took whatever circumstance that came your way and never let it stop you from living the best life you could live and you did it wholeheartedly on your own terms every single day of your life.  You were the light in a dark room!  Prepare a place for us as we prepared a place for you.  Your sweet and contagious laugh will live in all of us forever.  Have fun and play until we get to see you again!

You’re a true and real life blessing, a true example to live by and a precious gift from God! “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
