Dahlia Marie Salinas of Cisco passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at the age of 83.
Dahlia was born August 16, 1939 in Sterling City to Trino and Gabriela Guerrero Moreno. She married Ricardo Salinas December 5, 1956 in Frederick, Oklahoma. She was a member of Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Dahlia was a wife, homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Trino and Gabriela; brother Mike Moreno and wife Elinor; children Ricardo Salinas Jr., Ruben Salinas, Alice Bonney and Debra Whitehead.
She is survived by husband, Ricardo Salinas of Cisco; brother Ray Moreno and sister Delma Goates, both of Texas; sister -in-law Marie Munoz of Oklahoma; daughter Dianna Riggs and husband Ronald; grandchildren Davie and Latisha Bonney Drobits, Joshua and Sabrina Whitehead, Ricardo Salinas III, Vanessa Spann, Sterling Whitehead, Derek and Ashleen Riggs, Elzie and Rebecca Salinas Compton, Ruben Whitehead, Aaron Whitehead, Jessica and Chris McKinley, Steven Riggs, Duane and Bre Riggs; 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 3, 2023 at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home, 300 W. 9th Street in Cisco. Viewing will be 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco. There will be a reception following the burial at Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1106 Ave F in Cisco.
Pallbearers will be Landon Whitehead, Ricardo Salinas IV, Jace Whitehead, Chase Whitehead, Logan Spann, and Jackson Whitehead. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Riggs, Aaron Whitehead, Ruben Whitehead, Steven Riggs, David Spann, Duane Riggs, Josh Whitehead and Ricardo Salinas III.
