Delora Faye Cameron

Delora Faye Cameron passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the age of 86.

Faye grew up in Cisco, graduating from Cisco High School in 1956. She earned a scholarship to Texas Christian University where she was a leader in the Horned Frog Band, member of a sorority, and a member of Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce welcoming committee. She graduated from TCU with her BA degree, and later received her Master’s Degree in Education at Colorado College

She taught school for 35 years in the Colorado Springs school system where she was honored as Teacher of the Year.

Faye moved back to Texas in early 2000 to be with her family.
