Delores LaJuan (Avery) Merendino

Delores LaJuan Merendino 80, of Cisco entered into her heavenly home April 13, 2020. Graveside Service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Scranton Cemetery officiated by Reverend Terry Way. Viewing will be Wednesday 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kimbrough Funeral Home in small groups only.

Delores was born October 9, 1939 in Scranton, Texas to parents William Thomas and Stella Mae (Wilcoxen) Avery. She was a graduate of Scranton High School.

Delores was married to Kenneth Way for 32 years and he preceded her in death. She then married Frank Louis Merendino February 14, 2007 and he also preceded her in death on September 18, 2016. Delores was a housewife and homemaker and also had done private duty nursing and worked for a period of time at the state school.

Left to cherish her memories are a sister Yvonne Elaine Avery of Port Lavaca, Texas; brother Jerry Don Avery of Victoria, Texas. Stepson Reverend Terry Way and wife Pat of Brownwood, Texas and a nephew William Sneed and wife Alfie of Brady, Texas.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Doris Ann Sneed and Dr. Wanda Sneed, husbands; Kenneth Way and Frank Merendino.
