Bobby “Donald” Hale entered his heavenly home on March 14, 2022. He was born June 24, 1942, to T.L. (Smokey) and Vergie McGaha Hale in Gorman, TX. He graduated from Cisco High School in 1960 and attended Cisco Jr. College 1960-1961.
Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from April 1964 until April 1966.
Donald worked for 10 years for Phelps Dodge Corporation in Morenci, Arizona; El Paso Hydrocarbons: Union Texas Petroleum in the Pipeline Dept. where he retired with 20 years of service in October 1991. After retirement, he farmed peanuts and had a custom hay service and sales. He was instrumental with whatever needed to be done whenever it was needed at Marcia’s Creations, a former flower and wedding shop in Cisco, TX. He was known to always have a smile on his face and able to talk to anyone. He enjoyed having coffee with his coffee buddies daily at the DQ. At the present time, he was a Trustee of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association.
He married Marcia Webb on September 16, 1983. They were blessed with a special son, Brandon in 1987.
Donald was raised in the Baptist faith. He has been a member of the I-20 Church of Christ for 30 years. He willingly served by always making sure the lawn at the church was well taken care of.

His wife, Marcia Hale of Cisco; sons Kevin Hale, Kelton Hale and Brandon Hale all of Cisco; grandson Tristan Hale of Colorado; sister La Nelle Anderson of Cisco; brother Arzell (Connie) of Trona, California; twin brother Ronald Hale (Connie) of Eastland.
He was preceded by his parents Smokey and Vergie Hale; grandparents Jess and Dora Hale and Vester and Cora McGaha.
A visitation will be Wednesday March 16th 4-6 PM at Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco. Services will be held 10 AM on March 17th at the I-20 Church of Christ in Cisco. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Pall bearers are Cullyn McDowell, Mike Johnson, Kendall Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Kevin Scroggins, Frank Agnew. Honorary Pall Bearers are Jim Krabill, Larry Bryant, and Joe Walton. His service will be led by Lee Lewis and Lynn Hagan. Ken Cebrun will lead congregational singing.
