Dorothy (Dot) Webb

Dorothy (Dot) Webb of Cisco went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 81.

Dot was born October 15, 1943 in Brady to Grady and Bonnie Duncan Sproles. She attended school at Justin Northwest and loved to play basketball.  She later received her GED in Georgia in 1988.

She married Henry Webb October 28, 1959, and they were together almost 66 years. Dot worked as a cook at several restaurants and schools including Rabun Gap Nacoochee School in Georgia, and later Cisco Junior College. 

She was a kind, loving, caring and dependable woman who enjoyed cooking, tending to her flower garden and fishing.  She especially loved taking care of family and loved ones and playing with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Sowle, brother Grady (Nub) Sproles, son Bradley Webb, daughter-in-law Brenda Webb and grandson Kory Webb.

Survivors include her husband Henry Webb of Cisco; sons Edward Webb and wife Susie and Michael Webb and wife Cherita of Cisco; daughter LeaAnne Webb of Cisco; grandchildren Cody Webb of Cisco, Jeremy Webb of Gatesville, Joshua Webb of San Antonio, Kayla McDowell of North Carolina, Brittney Webb of Eastland, Justin Webb of Cisco and Mattie Webb of Cisco; great-grandchildren Kyri Webb of Cisco, Gabrieal Webb of Cisco, Ezra Brady of San Antonio, Kynleigh Webb of Cisco, Gavin Brady of San Antonio, Westin Webb of Cisco and Liam McDowell of North Carolina. She is also survived by brother Howard Sproles of Oregon and sister Seba Ferguson of Slaton.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home, 300 W 9th Street in Cisco.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Forester officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Cody Webb, Jeremy Webb, Josh Webb, Brittney Webb, Justin Webb and Kayla McDowell.
