Elena (Gutierrez) Samora

Elena Samora of Eastland made her peaceful transition into Heaven Friday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 92.

Elena was born August 18, 1932 in Taft, Texas to Bernado and Matilda Gutierrez. She Married Arturo Samora and was a devoted and faithful wife and loving mother. 

She was preceded in death by husband Arturo Samora; parents Bernado and Matilda Gutierrez; sons Ricky Samora, David Samora and Michael Anthony Samora.

Survivors include daughters Maria Hernandez and husband Max; daughter Alicia Samora; sons Johnny Samora and wife Ester and Art Samora and wife Evelyn; brother Manuel Gutierrez and wife Janie; sisters Jule Romero, Priscilla Garza and Mary Rodriguez and husband Johnny; numerous wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives.

Elena’s wishes were to be cremated.  No services will be held.

The family would like to thank Dr. Deluca, Solaris Hospice R.N. Kamelia Williams, and all the wonderful staff at the Woodlands.
