Frances Viola Campbell 92 of Cisco passed away at her home on November 30, 2019. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Danny Reid. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco. Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday evening 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Frances was born May 29, 1927 in Putnam, Texas to Charlie Harper Threet and Mary Etta (Moore) Threet. She graduated from Scranton School. Frances held various jobs during her life. She was a laundry worker, worked as a custodian and worked in the dietary department at E.L. Graham Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Frances married Bobby Wayne Campbell on May 24, 1947 in Cisco, Texas. He preceded her in death in February 2014. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are her children. Jean Seymour of Cisco, Kay Bell and husband Billy Don of Cross Plains, Claudie McKinney of Cisco. Sister: Minnie Pearl Griffin of Eastland and brother in law Billy Vann of Hawley. Nine Grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Bobby Wayne Campbell. Brothers; Herman Threet, Perry Threet, R.D. Threet, Johnny Threet. Sisters; Amy Vann, Nancy Ables. Sons in laws; Joe McKinney and Carl Seymour. Grandson; Billy Wayne Bell. Granddaughter; Bobbie Jean Griffin. Great grandchildren; Katelyn Jackson and Maxine Bell
