On July 28, 2022, Gail Wiley passed away peacefully at age 67 after a long battle with colon cancer. She left this world with a smile on her face knowing she was going to walk with the angels. Gail was the proud mother of two daughters and one granddaughter and loved to be known as “mom” to all their friends. Gail’s first love was her family and being their biggest cheerleader.
Born in Midland, TX, and raised on her family’s farm in Lohn, TX, Gail ultimately found her way back to Midland to raise her family and foster her career. She recently celebrated retirement after working as an Accounts Payable Manager for over 25 years in the oil business.
Gail is survived by her husband Bill Wiley, daughter Jenifer Wiley Black and husband Chris Black, daughter Christy Guadarrama, granddaughter Landri Guadarrama, parents Leslie and Mary Philipp, brother and his wife Gary and Melinda Philipp, sister Linda Carroll and sister and her husband Brenda and Kris Strain, followed by a long list of nieces and nephews.
They invite you to join them for a gravesite service on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11am at Nimrod Cemetery 3310 FM-569, Cisco, TX 76437. A reception will follow at Calvary Baptist Church, 1801 Conrad Hilton St, Cisco, TX 76437.
In lieu of flowers, Gail has asked that donations be made to the Nimrod Cemetery, Attn: Bonnie Knandy, 118 FM 3265, Cisco, TX 76437.
