Geneva Lucille (Whitehead) McAfee

Geneva Lucille McAfee 78 of Abilene, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior July 8, 2018.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Westgate Church of Christ officiated by Rodney Ashlock. Internment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends Tuesday evening 5:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Geneva was born August 1, 1939 in Cisco, Texas to parents F.B. and Mary Ruth (Proctor) Whitehead Jr. She was a graduate of Cisco High School. Geneva’s occupation was secretary for Westgate Church of Christ in Abilene having retired in 2007 to take care of her mother.

Geneva married David Ross McAfee December 21, 1963 at the McAfee farm in Eastland County. He preceded her in death December 18, 1996 Also preceding was a son Jeffrey Ross McAfee and a sister Jo Nell Owens.

Survivors are one brother Charles Whitehead of Cisco, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
