John Hale McCanlies

John Hale McCanlies, 82, of Cisco passed away Friday March 12th in a Fort Worth hospital.  Services will be Tuesday, March 16 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church with Reverend Cody Favor Officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 at Kimbrough Funeral Home. 

John was born December 21, 1938 in Cisco TX.  Son of Jim Bob and Flora (Bacon) McCanlies.  John was a graduate of Cisco High School class of 1957.  He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from McMurry University 1963, and Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 1975.  He worked as a materials inventory specialist for Exxon Company USA until he retired.  John was a member of First Baptist Church and the EX GI Association of Cisco.  A Life Member of NRA and most currently a board member of the Cisco Cemetery Association. John was married to Linda Jeanette Midkiff on August 21, 1959.

 He is survived by his wife Linda of Cisco, son Jimmy McCanlies and wife Nancy of Katy, TX, a Daughter-in-law Kelley McCanlies of Lubbock, Grandchildren: Jaxon McCanlies, Haleigh McCanlies, Jacob McCanlies and wife Brittany, Rick McCanlies and wife Melissa, Cora McCanlies, and Chase McCanlies.  Great Grandchildren: August Hale McCanlies and Shane Patrick McCanlies. A sister Julie White of Kruegerville, TX, a brother Pat McCanlies and wife Betty of Kaplin, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons Johnny Lynn McCanlies and Jeffrey Hale McCanlies.
