Jorge Puebla

Jorge Puebla, 72, went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2024. He was born on November 22, 1951, in Tierra Blanca, Zacatecas, Mx, the son of Guadalupe Puebla and Maria Consuelo Marentes.

Jorge worked in Rule, Tx at a Dairy Farm since 1967. In 1979, he married Yolanda Gallegos in Mexico. In 1988, he moved with his family to Breckenridge and began working at Pool Well Service and worked for Ebba Iron, for 20+ years. In 1999, he moved to Eastland where he was a loyal member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for 25 years, he also served as a Sacristan together with his wife for 2 years. He joined trucking in Dilley, Tx for 4 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Puebla+, and his brother Arturo Puebla and his twin grandkids.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Yolanda Puebla, are his three daughters: Nancy Puebla Sanchez, Janie Ortiz and Ashley Puebla. His grandkids: Deyvian Sanchez, Yadi Ortiz, Yexalen Ortiz, Yayleen Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, and Breiden Ortiz and great-granddaughter Mia Ortiz from Eastland. His brothers, Guadalupe Puebla, Fidel Puebla Marentes, José Luis Puebla, Fidel Baeza Puebla, Irma Puebla and Hector Puebla all from Breckenridge, Ana Mendoza from George Town, Tx, Elizabeth Puebla and Hilda Puebla from Zacatecas Mx, and many nieces and nephews who he loved as his own.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Eastland with Rosary and viewing at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Eastland City Cemetery.
