Matthew was a very loved little boy by his family and friends, he was born on April 10, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Matthew was many things to many people. He was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin and a friend. There were some things, however, that he was to everyone that he came into contact with. He was our superhero, Rockstar, music connoisseur, and car fanatic. He loved his family, cars, music, superhero movies, cookies and cream and chocolate ice cream, and laughing at people when they were crying (mostly Autumn). He was always the best dressed in the room, with style to spare, and he had the most epic Halloween. When he laughed, it was natural to stop whatever you were doing to see what joke you missed, and impossible not to return his smile. He shed a near blinding light to everyone lucky enough to know him. He handled everything life threw at him with quite reserve, snuggles, and smiles. He gave his all, fought hard, and loved snuggle time, especially with his mom and dad. He taught us so much in his too-few years with us, and while he can never be replaced, we can and should cherish the time we had and the lessons we learned from our very own superhero.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents Brandon Lee and Brandi Nicole (Tedford) Fought. Sisters: Lillian and Ashlee Fought and Brother Walker Fought.
His maternal grandparents: Debora Tedford of Abilene, Billy and Terri Kay Tedford of Cisco. Paternal grandparents: Rodney Fought of Cisco and Patricia Fought and Craig Starr of Cisco, Texas. Great Grandmother: Joann West and Special Friend Jeanette Goodman of Lucas, Texas.
