Kathleen Swindle 84, of Cisco joined her Heavenly Father March 3, 2021. Service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday March 5, 2021 at the Pavilion in Romney Cemetery south of Cisco on Hwy 183 officiated by Pastor J.M. Overman. Interment at Romney Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Visitation with family and friends was held Thursday evening 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Kathleen was born September 18, 1936 in Carbon, Texas to parents Claude Lee Rich and Esta (Lovell) Rich. She graduated from Cisco High School. Kathleen married Lloyd Ray Swindle on February 3, 1956 in Cisco, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 10, 2015. Kathleen was a member of Cross Plains United Pentecostal Church. Kathleen taught private piano lessons for 20 years in Cisco. She had also worked for J C Penny’s and Eastland Hospital.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Susan Potter and husband Tom of Cross Plains, Texas and Greg Swindle and wife Melissa of Mansfield, Texas.
Grandchildren: Maddie Vermillion, Meghann Stringer, Cason and Trea Swindle, Benjamin and Ruby Schaefer, Dustin and Starla Neighbors, Porcious and Kara Potter, Gerald and Rickie Brown.
One sister: Geneva Reed and husband A.C. of Lubbock, Texas.
Kathleen was preceded by her parents, one brother and her husband.
