Kathleen Meredith (Ziehr) Weiser

Kathleen Meredith Weiser 81, of Cisco was called to her Eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 14, 2020. Kathleen was born February 28, 1939, to Frank John and Willie Maie (Holt)Ziehr, in Cisco, Texas. She attended Grace Lutheran School, Cisco, TX for seven years, and then graduated from Cisco High School.

 Kathleen married Norman Weiser, June 1, 1958 at Grace Lutheran Church, Cisco, TX. Norman preceded her in death on January 8, 1995. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Cisco Press. Kathleen worked as a custodian for First National Bank in Cisco, People State Bank at Rising Star, Billy Wrights Office and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Kathleen was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and had taught Sunday School and participated in LWML.

Visitation will be at Kimbrough Funeral Home Wednesday evening 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cisco, Texas.

Burial will follow at Romney Lutheran Cemetery, Cisco, Texas.

Survivors are daughter Connie Rhodes and husband Jeremy of Granbury, Texas. Daughter-in-law Charlotte Weiser of Cisco, Texas. Three granddaughters: Kim Weiser and husband Cody  Javarone,  Amanda Springer and husband Jake and Rachel Rhodes. Three great- grandsons: Grayson Javarone, Cooper Javarone and Gene Springer. One great-granddaughter: Mikayla Springer. One sister Elaine Krause of Copperas Cove, Texas. Two brothers: Joe Ziehr and wife Mary Ann of Cisco, and Roland Ziehr and wife Jean of Clyde, Texas.

She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother Elton Ziehr, husband Norman Weiser and son Ronnie Weiser.

Memorials may be directed to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Redeemer Cemetery Association, Redeemer Childhood Learning Center or a charity of your choice.
