Lizzie Bell Harris-Ditto, 97, passed away at her home in Cisco on February 23,2022. She was born August 27, 1924 in the Caddo Community of Stephens County. She was the daughter of Ogle Ellis and Nora May (Fenton) Procter. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1942, took a job as a telephone operator with the Bell Telephone Company and she later retired in 1974 from AT&T. In June of 1942 she married A.W. Harris. They were married for 46 years until he passed away. She later married B.J. Ditto until he passed away in 1998. She was a member of the Cisco Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death husbands A.W. Harris and B.J. Ditto, and her son Royce Harris. She is survived by daughter Jackie Reese and Husband James of Abilene, Grandchildren Britt Reese of Dallas, Tammy Reese of Abilene, Kathy Siegfried of Abilene, Robert Harris of Cisco, and Deborah Harris of Cisco.
Great-grandchildren Reese Allen, Mark Reese, Allen Harris, Justin Harris, Miranda Harris, Harley Harris, Tiffany Hobbs, Jasmine Eggins, Christopher Eggins, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 27th at 2:30 p.m. at the Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Larry Fitzgerald. Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday evening February 26th at Kimbrough Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
