Guadalupe “Lupe” Adriano Garcia, Jr. of Cisco left this life unexpectedly Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the age of 64.
Lupe was born on August 29, 1960 in Cisco by father Guadalupe A. Garcia, Sr and mother Dolores M. Garcia. Lupe was in the Air Force and attended college at Oregon State. He married Yvonna Tipton where they lived in Cisco.
Lupe was a referee and umpire for youth sports. He always had a smile on his face. He loved the Lord and often prayed for the students when he would walk the halls after his bus route.
Lupe is survived by his wife Yvonna Tipton Garcia; children Brian McDowell (Trevor Tipton), Tyler Blaylock and wife Laura; grandchildren Tomas and Virgina; brother Danny Garcia and wife Samantha; brother-in-law Alan Tipton and wife Donna and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe, Sr. and Dolores Garcia, infant daughter Rosalinda Garcia, and sister Laura Wheat.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home, 300 W 9th Street in Cisco. A celebration of Lupe's life will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Serve Church, 1000 Ave. A, in Cisco. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
