Lydia Juanita Wilson was born to J.B. and Bettie Mauldin on April 4, 1941, in Sweetwater, Texas. Lydia graduated from Rising Star High School in 1959. She married Jerry Wilson in Rising Star, Texas, on December 30, 1961. She had a son, daughter, and four grandchildren. Lydia enjoyed shopping, interior decorating, reading, gardening, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Lydia passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Wilson of Katy, Texas; her son, David Wilson and wife, Kim of Katy; Her daughter, Jennifer Lopez and husband, Gerry; her grandchildren: Zachary Wilson of Denton, Texas, Alexis Wilson of Katy, Texas and Julian Lopez and Myla Lopez of Cypress, Texas; her sister, Marsha Fass and husband, Mike of Wimberley, Texas. She is also survived by many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends which she loved dearly. Lydia is preceded in death by her father, J.B. Mauldin and her mother, Bettie Mauldin
