Margie Marie (Agnew) Green

Margie Marie (Agnew) Green went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 24, 2024, just five days after her 91st birthday.

Margie was born November 19, 1933 in Dothan to William Lester and Zilla Ruth Adams Agnew. She married Gerald Paul Green November 3, 1949, and the couple was married 64 years when he preceded her in death.

She received her LVN license in 1966, and worked in hospitals in Odessa, Crane, Cisco and Eastland.  She especially loved working with the elderly, working 18 years at Valley View Health Care Center in Eastland before retiring in 2000.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Paul Green, daughter Paula Marie Green, brothers Granville Wayne Agnew, L.C. Agnew and Benny Lee Agnew, and sister Martha Sue Day Osbourne.

Survivors include her children Larry Paul Green of Cisco, Margie Raynell Green of Merkel and Coy Dale Green and wife Rachel of Cisco; seven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren, and  one brother, William Ray Agnew.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2024, at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Driver officiating.  Burial will be in Sabanno Cemetery.
