Martha Virginia (Honea) Whitehead

Martha Virginia Whitehead 94, of San Angelo, Texas entered into her heavenly home

Friday March 13, 2020. Virginia was born July 19, 1925 in Cisco, Texas to Jeff and Lora (Jessup) Honea. She attended schools in Scranton, Cisco and Eastland, Texas. On December 21, 1940 she married Jack Bernard Whitehead in Eastland, Texas They celebrated 79 years together. Virginia was a Certified Dental Assistant for Doctor Woods and later worked in retail sales for Sears and also at Eastland County Courthouse retiring in August 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cisco.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday March 18, 2020 from 12PM until 2PM at First Baptist Church in Cisco the Funeral Service will began at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Survivors are her husband Jack of San Angelo, Texas. One daughter, Loretta Currie and husband David of San Angelo. Grandsons: Chuck Lipsey and wife Kelly of Ballinger, Texas and Scott Lipsey and wife Shanna of San Angelo. Granddaughter: Candi Rasberry and husband Kurt of San Angelo. Step-grandsons Lance and Chad Currie Brother: John Honea. Sisters: Vera Mae Ingram and husband Chessley Atchison of Cisco and Rachel Cagle of Cisco.

Great Grandchildren: Brian Rasberry, Brent and Brett Rasberry Chelsy Lipsey, Charly Lipsey Payton Chitsey, and Luke Lipsey.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Jeff and Lora Honea: sons Randy Wayne and Jimmy Don Whitehead and brothers Jackie, and Stanley, Honea.
