Michelle Sterling

Karen Michelle Sterling of Cisco went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 54.

Michelle, as she was known to friends and family, was born February 27, 1969 in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Larry Glenn and Linda Turner Riddle. She attended Hobbs High School. She loved crafting and was self-employed at the Empty Bobbin. She was a member of the Cisco Nazarene Church, where she served as Treasurer.

Michelle was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Armenta and John Kenneth Turner, and paternal grandparents, Martha and James Riddle.

Survivors include her parents, Larry and Linda Riddle of Cisco; brother Kevin Riddle and wife Vivian of Tuscola; daughters Danielle Downing and husband Richie of Buffalo Gap, Katie Dubbs and husband Dave of Ranger, and Kelsea Sterling of Abilene; son Brayden Sterling of the home; and seven grandchildren, Kenleigh, Blaise, Hudson, Camden, Kennedi, Jaxon and Maggie.

Michelle was such a kind soul.  She always saw the best in people and loved them for who they were. She always found the light in the darkness, even through her trials and tribulations. She loved spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Michelle’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Cisco Nazarene Church, 1008 W 10th Street, with Rev. David Hollon officiating. A reception will be held following the service.
