Myrtle Frances (Bond) Rains

Myrtle Frances Rains, 97, of Cisco passed from this life into her Heavenly Home on Friday December 18, 2020. She was born May 22, 1923 in Doss, Gillespie County, Texas the daughter of Henry Washington and Ola Belle (Wilson) Bond. After graduating from school, she attended  Randolph Training School in Cisco to train as a bomb maker and diesel mechanic as part of the war effort during WWII. She married Floyd Odell Rains on December 1, 1945 and they made their home in Cisco. Odell preceded her in death on April 29, 1998.  

Frances is survived by three sons; Bobby Rains and wife Jeanne of Cisco, Billy Rains and wife Kim of Holiday, Jimmy Rains and wife Gaye of Cisco, 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Christina.
