Naomi Louise (Brooker) Cozart

Naomi Louise Cozart 96, of Ranger entered into her heavenly home on January 4, 2023.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco, Texas officiated by Chad Gosnell. Burial will follow at Murray Cemetery in Carbon, Texas under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday evening January 6, 2023 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Kimbrough Funeral Home, 300 West 9th Street, Cisco, Texas.

Naomi was born June 25, 1926 in Talpa, Texas to Jay and Clara Belle (Jackson) Brooker.

She married Clifton Raymond Kanady, he preceded her in death in July 1975. Later she married Leman Cozart and he also preceded her in death in 2004.

Naomi was a member of Carbon Baptist Church. She worked at Hollywood Vasarette as a seamstress and retired in 1980.She took great pleasure at being a homemaker and mother and she enjoyed attending musicals with her friends.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Clifton Raymond Kanady of Carbon, Texas. Weldon Jay Kanady and wife Darlene of Eastland, Doyle Lee Kanady and wife Robin of Eastland, Carolyn Ruth Woodall and husband Rodger of DeLeon, Texas, Margaret Ann Griffin and husband Calvin of Eastland, Texas, Mary Louise Gallaway of Eastland, Texas, Nelda Jean Pittman of Edna, Texas, Alice Faye Saylors of Eastland, Texas.

One brother Leroy Brooker of Baird, Texas and one sister Velma Hollis of Clyde, Texas.

Twenty-One grandchildren, Twenty-Seven great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, two husbands, one grandchild and one great grandson.

Pallbearers will be Chad Kanady, Jeff Kanady, Jarrod Kanady, Bryson Kanady, T.J. Pittman, Ethan Pittman, Justin Bowles, Scotty Kanady, Chris Griffin, Clifton Pittman.
