Nellie Myrth McCann

Nellie Myrth McCann 94 of Odessa, Texas passed away May 11, 2020. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas officiated by Reverend Cody Favor.

Nellie was born December 3, 1925 in Admiral, Texas in Callahan County to Walter Isaac Brooks and Mary Melissa (Cox). On August 28, 1949 she married Benny Troy McCann in Cisco, Texas. He preceded her in death April 7, 2006. Nellie was a devoted housewife and mother.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Donna McCann, Wayland McCann and Alan McCann all of Odessa, Texas.

Nellie was preceded by her parents Walter and Mary, 5 Brothers; Chalma Lee Brooks, Farris Callwell Brooks, Roy Cullen Brooks, Walter Quinton Brooks and James Luther Brooks. 3 Sisters; Velma Oleta Brooks Weir, Easter Follia Brooks Rice, and Lelia Doretta Brooks Pate. One Daughter-in-law; Emma Lu Cree McCann.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
