Norma “Nan” Duncan was surrounded by family when she went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.
She was born in Ranger, Texas to Earnest and Lela (Stewart) McGough on December 22nd, 1944. She married Charles Duncan on January 9th, 1961. They welcomed their daughter, Norma, and made their home in Cisco, Texas. They were married for 40 years.
She loved the Lord and served Him at Victory Assembly 2013 – 2020. Almost everyone knew her as “Nan.” She always made an effort to make everyone feel included and loved.
She is preceded in death by: Parents Earnest and Lela McGough; Brothers Jesse and Edward McGough; Sister Betty McGough; Husband Charles Duncan; Son-In-Law Larry “Dale” Chadwick; and Grandson Joshua Chadwick.
She is survived by: Daughter Norma Chadwick; Grandson Larry and wife Stephanie of Eastland; Granddaughter Jeana and husband Brandon of Cisco; Granddaughter-Ino Love Verna Chadwick; Great Grandchildren: Charles Stephens, Briley Chadwick, and Adelia Moore; Sister Wanda and husband Don of Waco; Brother Kenneth and wife Jan of Medina; Brother Glen and wife Janet of Cisco; Brothers John and wife Amelia of Columbia, Kentucky; and Jim and wife June of Oklahoma. Sister-in-Law Pat McGough of Cisco; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; a community who loved her, and a church family nation-wide.
Visitation will be Monday, February 3rd, 2020 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Her Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 4that 2 p.m. at her home church of Victory Assembly in Cisco.
Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas.
