Ollie Lee Larkin

Ollie Lee Larkin 95, of Rising Star, Texas joined his Heavenly Father on Friday morning, April 22, 2022. Ollie was born August 9,1926, in Rising Star, Texas to Arthur and Nancy Ellen (Barnett) Larkin. He attended school and church in Crockett just outside of Rising Star. He married Minnie Doralene Hudson on April 27,1962 at the Hilton Hotel in Cisco Texas and she preceded him in death.

In his early teens and twenties’ he worked at Holly Sugar Mill in Tracy, California, when he moved back to Texas he owned and operated a Dairy Farm in Rising Star for many years. He later worked in nursing at Golden Age Nursing Home in Abilene Texas along side his wife. He was a cook at Cisco Jr College where he retired. He then came out of retirement and worked at Thorton Feed Mill in Cisco Texas, and later worked at LVI in carbon, and he did part time physical therapy for home care.

Survivors include daughters - Linda Roitsch and husband Arnold Daughter - Nancy McQueen Son - Tommy Larkin and wife Doris Son - Arthur Larkin and wife Carol Daughter - Myrtle Childers and husband Charles Son  - Johnny Larkin,and son Ryan Johnson:  Grandchildren : Chrystal McGinn, Jennifer Cody and husband Donnie, Charlene Canales, Fredrick Canales, Matthew Prickett and wife Chrystal, Michael Gill, Courtney Larkin, James Larkin, Ethan Larkin, Dorthy Larkin,  Misty Bush, Tiffany Bustamante and husband Heric, Brittany Bush and Amber Tucker. Great Grand children - Lane McGinn, Kamryn McGinn, Payton McGinn, Pacy McGinn, Adrien Canales, Zachariah Cody, Isaiah Cody, Joshua Cody, Abigail Cody, Kolton Seal, Bradley Seal, Carson Larkin, Kennah Bustamante, Braxton Bustamante, Brooklyn Bustamante, Tessa Cates, and Tristi Cates

Memphis Tucker,   and Fenix Mills

He was Preceded in death by son Roy Larkin and infant daughter Mary Ann Larkin His parents and Two brothers and seven sisters.
