Randy Wayne Honea

Randy Wayne Honea, 72 years old, of Cisco Texas, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.  Randy was born on August 2, 1950 to the late Derwin and Wanda Honea and is survived by his brother, Ross Honea. 

After Randy graduated from Cisco High School, he enlisted into the Army on August 5, 1969. He served our country honorably for 1 year and 7 months as an Airborne Infantry Weapons Squad Leader assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade for two tours during the Vietnam war. 

Upon his return to U.S. soil in 1971, Randy lived his life as a pipeline welder and operated his own welding business for over 40 years.  He was a jack of all trades and was a hard-working man, whose skills, reputation and strong character was no doubt passed along to his children and anyone who had worked with him. 

On May 4, 2003, Randy married Sam with a forever growing family of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who survived him.  Randy is missed by his loving wife Sam Honea, his children Paul Green, Brandon Honea, Brody Honea, Brenna Sims, Trever Honea, Denise Huls, Amber Johnston and Stacy Hammer, his eighteen grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and will forever be remembered by his brother Ross Honea.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2023 at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Sabanno Cemetery.
