Raymond Allen Bailey

Raymond Allen Bailey, age 93, went to be with his family in Heaven Monday, November 25, 2024.

Raymond was born November 19, 1931 in Phelps City, Missouri.  He attended school in Rock Port, Missouri.  He moved to Texas in 1950, where he joined the Marine Corp and served three years. He was a truck driver for 40 years and was also a sheet metal worker. Raymond was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3278 in Brownwood.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Beth Bailey of Cisco; two daughters, Janet Teague of Austin and Cheryl Payne of Cisco; three grandsons, Mike Eiland of Dothan, Alabama, Brian Payne of Pueblo, Colorado and Joshua Teague of Clyde; two granddaughters, Nikki Hawkins of Dallas and Kassidy Payne of Abilene; two great-grandsons, Ethan and Adin Eiland of Dothan, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Lake Leon Baptist Church, 2601 FM 2214, Eastland, Texas 76448, with Craig Rhoton officiating.
