It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother into the arms of Jesus on December 15, 2025.
Rhonda Renee (Hammer) Lunceford was born September 8, 1963 in Pampa to Jack and Marry (Phillips) Hammer.
Rhonda is survived in her new beginning by her son Eric Watts of Cisco, daughter Ashley Byrd and Justin of Carbon, Grandson Sawyer Byrd of Carbon, brother Greg Hammer of Mineral Wells, bonus mother Annette Crocket of Hobbs, New Mexico. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins, and her pride and joy dog, GiGi.
She is preceded in passing by her father Jack Hammer and Mother Mary (Phillips) Wells.
Rhonda Graduated Cisco High School and continued in life with many roles, from helping in the Cisco College Bookstore, working as a florist in Brownwood, to working and co-owning a florist in Eastland with her mother Mary. Anyone who knew Rhonda knew that she was the life of the party, and was definitely a firecracker along with her dear lifelong friend, Terri Widener “TG”.
Mom will be graciously missed by so many as she departed on her new journey into the kingdom of Heaven.
A Celebration of life to honor her will be held at a later date with a memorial led by her son Eric Watts. Her children Eric and Ashley ask that her passing be celebrated as moms wishes of being free are achieved. She is free to fly and watch over her loved ones.
