Richard L. Latham

Richard L. Latham, 58, of Waco passed away on December 30, 2025.

Born on April 12, 1967, Richard dedicated over three decades of his life to Clayton Homes, where he worked for 31 years. During his time there, he formed lasting friendships and was deeply appreciated by those who knew him.

Richard is lovingly remembered by his partner, Gina Norris; his son, Robert Hoppe (Claire); his daughter, Jessica Hoppe (Corey); and his brothers, William McClanahan (Deloise) and Christopher Latham (Andrea). He also leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amy and Bud McClanahan and Richard and Carol Latham.

A man of many talents and passions, Richard found joy in fixing anything mechanical or electronic. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking-pursuits that reflected both his creativity and practical skills. His hands were rarely still, always building or repairing with care and precision.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Waco First Assembly of God, located at 6701 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, TX 76710.

Richard lived life to the fullest and with love. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
