Samuel Ray Woody

Samuel Ray Woody,78, of Cisco entered into the waiting arms of Jesus on May 17, 2021. Sam was born July 2, 1942 in Abilene, Texas to William Anthony and Artie Lottie (Russell) Woody. He married Alice Edith (Patton) February 28, 1972 in Altus, Oklahoma. Sam was a retired land fill supervisor for the City of Cisco and was a member of The Old Gospel Church in Cisco, Texas.

Survivors are his wife Alice Woody of Cisco, Sons: James Dayne Riggs and wife Joy of Fort Worth, Texas, Darrell Riggs and wife Dana of Trinity, Texas, and Andrew J. Hobbs of Cisco.

One daughter: Cindy Jo Meador of Abilene, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be at The Old Gospel Church, 9142 Hwy 6, Cisco, Texas

11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 officiated by Brother Dennis McClure and Brother Reagan Duncan.
