Sue was born to Cotton Pinson and Billie Pinson Smith on March 27, 1948 in Brownwood, Texas.
Sue grew up and went all through school in Early, Texas.
Later in life she met the love of her life, Tim Gosnell. They married at Lake Brownwood on March 1, 1986. They celebrated 36 years of marriage this year.
Sue loved working in the yard, working with flowers, and having her family around.
Sue left our world and joined her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 74 years of age.
She is survived by: her loving husband; Tim Gosnell of Abilene. Five sisters: Geretta and Joe Williams of Lake Brownwood; Debbie Buchanan of Abilene; Linda and Bill Pirtle of Cross Plains; Debra and Max Blankenship of Stanford; and Connie and Wrey Hinds of Round Rock. One brother: Vaughn Smith of Abilene. Children: Becky McLean Alvey of Abilene; Steven and Kerri McLean of Santa Anna; and Tim Gosnell Jr. of Abilene. Grandchildren: Cynthia and Johnny Folley of Abilene; Tyler Alvey of Abilene; Dylan and Zaida McLean of Brooksmith; and Tyler and Tori Hughes of Lakeside, CA. Also 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends of which she loved dearly.
Sue is preceded in death by: her daddy; Cotton Pinson, mom; Cleva Pinson, mother; Billie Pinson Smith, and brother Marty Pinson.
The family would like to thank Hendrick Hospital, Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation and Hendrick Hospice Care for all the outpouring love, care and hospitality they provided during this time.
The graveside services will be under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco, Texas.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at 11:00am. Viewing will be 10:45am to 11:00am at the cemetery. 200 Front St. Cisco, Tx. 76437.
