Terri Theriault Obituary

Terri Ann Madison Theriault of Lipan, TX joined her Mother and Father in Heaven Saturday morning in Breckenridge, TX surrounded by her family, following a short battle with Cancer.

Terri was born in Fairfield, TX September 8th 1960, to Dean and Ann Madison.  She attended Cisco High School, Cisco Junior College and Tarleton State University where she earned a degree in Education and Kinesiology.

Before becoming a teacher, Terri was a Master Florist and ran Philpott Florist in Cisco, TX for several years with her parents.

Terri began her teaching career in Cisco, Texas in 1995.  She taught at many schools including San Antonio Lake Highlands High School, Palmer High School, Ennis Intermediate School, Maypearl High School, Avoca High School, Santo High School and currently teaching at Victoria East High School.  She found her true calling as a Special Education Teacher and affected many students’ lives throughout her career.  She especially enjoyed her duties as a One Act Play Director and Coach. She was a lifelong sport enthusiast beginning with Traci’s little dribblers to her love for Texas Tech Football and Mike Leach.

She tried to retire from teaching for a few years to maintain her ranch.  She has always been an animal lover from the days of traveling from stock show to stock show with her mother showing llamas to her farm. Her menagerie included two dogs, Annie and Emmy, 5 llamas, a horse named Shiner, some chickens and Kitty Blue the Cat.

Her biggest passion in life was being a mom. Terri became a mother in 1991 to Traci Ann Theriault and from that day forward became her biggest fan in all her endeavors.

Terri is survived by her Daughter, Traci Ann Theriault of Houston, her brother, Steven Dean Madison and wife Cindy of Breckenridge, three nieces Stephany Ann Madison of Odessa, Elizabeth Marie Schubert and husband Kurt of Goliad, Jackie Madison Walker and husband Kolt of Snyder, two great nieces, Grace Schubert and Rylee Crookes and two great nephews, Chase Schubert and Jaxon Salinas and her menagerie.  Terri is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Isaac Dean and Jackie Ann Madison and her grandparents.
