Travis Wayne Manning

Travis Wayne Manning of Eastland passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 87.

Travis was born December 1, 1937 in Abilene to William Travis and Mabel Wayne Sugg Manning.  He served for a short time in the United States Army. Travis was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved NFL football and small-town living. He married Sylvia Hagan June 29, 2005, and lived out the rest of his life in Eastland County.

He was preceded in death by parents Mabel Wayne Sugg Manning and Travis Manning, Sr.

Survivors include wife Sylvia Hagan Manning of Eastland; son Lee Edmond Manning and wife Monica of Grand Prairie; daughter Holly Manning Lockett and husband Daren of  Destin, Florida; granddaughter Gabrielle Kursteiner Fenn and husband Casey and their daughter Delilah Casey Fenn of Brock; grandson John Zachary Kursteiner of Weatherford.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home, 300 W. 9th Street in Cisco.  Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 3, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery, 200 Front Street in Cisco, with Marvin Baucom officiating.
