Virginia Dee Fulmer

Virginia Dee Fulmer, 82, of Cisco passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Virginia was born in Cisco to Richard Stephan and Bessie Lee (Hunt) Rogers on July 17, 1942. She lived all her life in Eastland County. She was a cook at various restaurants and nursing homes in Eastland and Cisco. She married Otis Thetford in 1964 and they divorced in 1975.  She married Wayne Fulmer in 1976, and the two were married until his death in 2004. She was affectionately known as "Mamoo" to many of her family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Wayne (Pappy) Fulmer, her parents, brother Richard Don Rogers and sister Wanda Lee Payne.  She is survived by daughter Shawnna Rhyne of Cisco and sons Shannon Thetford of New Boston and Jeremy Fulmer of Cisco, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 25, 2024, at Mitchell Cemetery.
