William Lee Johnson, Sr of Cisco passed away surrounded by family Friday, February 16, 2024, at the age of 76.

William was born December 2, 1947 in Terrell, Texas to William Taylor and Margaret Lee Hunt Johnson. He married Verna Joyce Rains, and the couple resided in Cisco.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anita Rose.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Johnson, son Bill Johnson and wife Shanda; three grandchildren, Brody, Shylin and Bandy; brothers Gene and wife Vita of Cross Plains, Jerry and wife Debbie of Cisco, and Danny and wife Sherry of Cross Plains; sisters Tony of Silsbee, Tammy of Sanger and Kim of Baird; and many nieces and nephews.

William’s wishes were to be cremated, and no services are planned.
